I hear you, have had the same challenges with multiple wheel sets and tire combos. I will say though that these new Schwalbe’s are really different and they went on my other wheels just as easily (although as mentioned no chance in heck of getting them seated without a compressor). Will let you know as well when I put my next set of tires on these as the current ones are probably half way through their lives!
