It was 95 degrees when I left at 4pm for an after-work ride. Did 52 miles up to Lake Forest. Took it easy.
Stopped at a sculpture along the bike path. Nice and shady!
Drank at least 6-7 large bottles of water during the ride. Filled up at a “fancy” fountain.
The “tunnel of trees” roads up north provided a little relief. Absolutely no lake cooling today because of the SW wind. It was still in the early nineties when I got home.
