Wait until you try to put it into practice Bicycling isn't skiing...at least not downhill. Bicycling is much closer to cross country skiing where you are constantly generating heat and need to manage it. A full face mask will often lead to fully fogged glasses when you have to stop. I use them but I never cover my mouth and nose. If I do, I often can't keep my glasses clear even when riding.

As for doubling up on the ears, the air flow from a helmet and from moving quickly through cold air puts a real chill on your ears. Just wait...you'll see
