They slowly ramped it up over the years, in excess of inflation. Their core market of men born before 1980 kept being able to pay it, so it didn't hurt yet. But there's a reason that after owning and milking it for years, Providence Equity Group sold it to Wanda a few years ago, and Wanda then sold it to Advance a few months ago PEG sold it when it was at its peak and knew that the growth was over.
