Intended to do a 35 mile early jaunt on Saturday. Headed out at 7:30 to Hidden Valley with Dos Vientos as the turn around spot. Flatted in HV. Then the heat turned up! Opted to turn around at the end of HV and head for home. It was truly boiling. Got home, turned the garden hose on my head and noted the temps nearing 100. A few hours later it was 110 in the yard. 28 miles for the day.
