The color additions look OK. If it was mine I'd take off as many of the stickers as possible (but leave the emblem on the headtube). I'd go as far as to take off the "M A R I N" if it wasn't too much trouble. I've always liked a 'de-badged' bicycle to leave onlookers guessing what it is.
