Further down in the thread it mentions that this might be a 1998 NTH FX40 Reparto Corse. Interesting that this bike has the same large frame size (and it's too small for you?), same incongruent low-end '98 Rock Shox Indy S, green tires, flat pedals, seatpost, cranks, etc, with the biggest difference being the Magura hydraulic brakes.

Not much else comes up for pictures except for one with high end parts that I'd expect to see on this nice frame: a long travel Marzocchi Bomber, Shimano XT, etc. The post also says this is a 1998 bike.



Maybe these were sold as frame-only?
