You could sneak into a Kia dealer and ask one of the techs, or find an independent Kia shop and ply them for info.

I would think many modern brakes jobs can be done the same as before the "electronic garbage" but some do require the use of a scan tool.
yeah I called 2 dealerships and they told me basically unless I brought them the car for service they wouldn't tell me.(pricks) Nothing on you tube. I might ask around town, see if I can get a indi shop to install for me. Or just swap in the new rotors rough up the pads and let 'er buck!
