Thanks! I actually know of that ride, but have never done it. Any idea what percent of the route is gravel? As a return favor, I’ve done this route, which has some beautiful scenery and is about two thirds gravel:

My bike can hold three bottles, so I’m OK for water up to 50 or 60 miles. I like Rides4Beer’s suggestion to use a lightweight endurance runner’s backpack to carry enough water for even longer rides.
