A few months back, a friend of mine and bus-driver was complaining that he had to be trained on how to assist cyclists who wanted to use the new bike racks, similar to the one shown in the pic, being installed on the local transit system here. I mentioned to him that I may have played a role in the racks being installed on the buses as I had been writing to the Mayor for over a year urging him to introduce the program. While the racks were introduced just a few months ago, ironically my two main bikes: a 7'6". Firebike and 6'9" Stiletto, do not fit. I never planned to use the racks anyway.
