It was really cool to see how important that win was to him.
I enjoyed the stage...but I think it impacted the overall race a bit too much. The cobbles are a gimmick, and to steal a gaming phrase, they introduce too much rng. Every stage has some randomness and luck, but the cobbles intensify it and has essentially snuffed out at least one contender.
