I enjoyed stage 9. Riding cobbles are part of racing in Europe. Mountains give men built like jockeys an advantage so why not give bigger more powerful riders an advantage via cobble stones. And there is skill in riding over the cobbles. And riding the cobbles made for a more exciting race and better ratings.
