I don't know, it's the best tire on snow I've ridden, but I haven't tried a large number of tires. Vee Mission, Kenda Juggernaugt Elite and Sport, and Jumbo Jim in 4" and 4.8".
I do most of my riding on trails that are either not groomed with double footprints or packed by a pass or two of snowshoes.
You don't know what you don't know. 45nrth Dunderbeist and Flowbeist or Surly Bud and Lou blow all those tires away in snow.
