Used to bike ~25mi to the pier to go fishing, during the early mornings. (And 25mi back, of course.) Summer of '78, IIRC. Invariably, the guy who camped out at "his" spot on the pier had his portable radio tuned to one of the cool local radio stations. Rafferty's "Baker Street" tune was frequently played. To this day, from a few notes into the song, hearing it still transports me back to the ride and the pier fishing.
