Anecdotal, but I've never been impressed with the hold on the foot that shoes with a single boa have.
I've never been terribly impressed with the hold that BOAs offer, in general - one dial or two.
I'm honestly not sure what makes those Shimano shoes better than regular S-phyres for the track.
