I haven't ridden the Opal but tested the Onyx...again, both pretty stiff and responsive bikes...

My other road bikes are a custom built steel frame and an aluminum, and I think the Orca is stiffer and more responsive than both.

I got to ride one the other day....it is plenty stiff....I am 6'2" and 170 lbs so I am not your typical racing stick. It is stiff and a smooth ride....Orbea prides its self on a smooth ride without losing performance. The one I road was a Campy Record 2007 and had Mavic ES wheels. Very nice. Price tag was at $5200. I wish I had to the cash to buy one.
