No photos here, but I took my 1972 Gitane TdF out for a 35 mile late afternoon/twilight ride today, going from my house in Fort Worth along the Trinity Trails to the Stockyards, out to Benbrook lake and back. The wind was a pain, with Northerly gusts up to about 30 MPH, but in all it was a good ride. This is the first week I've broken the 100 mile total mark in over a year, and most of the mileage has been on the TdF. This week has also been bit of a shakedown test to see if the TdF might work for the 100K version of the Salado ride in late March (Smokin' Spokes)...I'm pretty well convinced it will do just fine for pretty much any ride I can last through.
