My primary projects are to button up the builds on 2 new-to-me framesets. Primary? First celeste Bianchi and with Formula One tubeset; Rickert is the oldest lightweight I have ever owned (but unridden). I changed both builds and then procrastinated. But new rides are compelling.
The crankset rings on this will be 46/30 (VeloOrange). I want an off-road hill climber and light tourer over an ‘all original component’ collectible. (46/30 in da parts bin.)
This one has had more than one revision. Going with dual pivot Centaurs, long cage Mirage 9, but with downtube friction and 7sp freewheel, unless a free hub wheelset materializes. Weinmann delta brakes are pictured, but we’re too problematic for me to install.
edit: my second ‘priority’ winter project is to decide whether to sell almost all my 58cm frames? Perhaps 5. Bottecchia,Zeus,Pinarello,Follis,?. The future beckons….
