The idea behind 'e', at this time, is that it would definitely get me out more in the winter months. But an indoor set-up is cheaper.
I'm actually considering one myself. It just seems like such a big step but people I know are doing it. One friend I ride with was told by his doctor to stop riding a regular bike due to heart issues. He now rides a Specialized Turbo Creo.

Two weeks ago one of the younger super strong women told me she wished I would get an e-bike because she missed riding with me since I have slowed due to my own physical issues. I thought that was sweet.

After riding for so long it will be like giving up a piece of myself. Or something like that.
