They think he's the man no matter. When I ride in on my bikes to visit the staff is sweet as can be as well. Plus I get the 40% discount. Kinda fun really. But truely it's a popular bike even for folks that don't understand what it is.
I can say that whenever I've ridden there on one of my vintage-ish bikes, the staff has always shown an interest in it. Maybe it's just the urge to see something different, but bike shop folks seem to enjoy seeing a nice shiny old bike.
