We've had a string of days with temps in the early 90s, but a cold front finally came through, so I did 60 miles up into Lake County.
About 7 miles into the ride, I hit some glass. I stopped to clean the tire and noticed that there were two bare spots. Over 2.2K miles on this one, so I guess I'm due. Decided to continue, but lay off any "hi-G" maneuvers.
Decided to head down the always beautiful Telegraph road.
Pretty quiet, except for the occasional dummkopf over-revving their Porsche.
Saw a doe with 2 fawns. One of the fawns literally high-tailed it into the woods before I could snap a pic.
Wildflowers along the high-tension lines are blooming like crazy this year. The Purple Coneflowers are numerous.
