I would personally stay away from re-bending bars, specifically because the bent sections end up getting work hardened and pulled along the outer diameter, which results in thinner, more brittle walls along the outside of the curves. Despite steel being forgiving, I can't see the re-bending process not having some sort of detrimental effect on the bars themselves.
