So at the visit with my folks yesterday we sat outside. My mom REFUSED to sit in the sun and insisted that we move her chair to a shaded spot.

I suggested a few minutes of sunshine would be good for her. She refused and says she never gets any sun exposure anymore due to history of skin cancer.

I am sure she has Vitamin D deficiency, but I can't tell her anything, obviously. I am of course grateful that she is still around for me to roll my eyes about.
