I am now riding a new CAAD12 and it feels wonderful.
Although I still have many problems, such as my left leg feeling shorter than the right, I can't complain.
I may do some club rides and some time trials this summer but I just can can't see myself in a peleton. I don't know if I can ever return. And for some reason I'm not really upset about that.
It's kind of like finishing the last race of the season and you know that the serious hard training is over, and it's all just riding for fun until the snow flies.
Maybe it's just that my time spent racing is now over. And I'm ok with that.
