This was a "snakebite" puncture on the first ride of a new Conti Sprinter. It was near dusk and I didn't see this rock on the shoulder of the road. Ugh!
For those who say you can't get a snakebite puncture on a tubular, I have to disagree....



This is the bike being ridden...



I did get the snakebite patched, although I hadn't expected that it would be so hard to find a puncture when there was no damage to the tread. A bit of detective work soon revealed the approximate location, though.
