I'm with you. I have a smart trainer and Zwift, but it only makes it sort of bearable. I don't think it feels anything like the road and there's no communication with the other riders. It's weird because I have friends who seem to love it, even riding a fair amount on Zwift in the summer. RPE is a lot higher for me on the trainer and that might be helped by riding it more, but I think I'd rather ride in the rain and the dark in the winter.
