Very nice bike, great choices for upgrades! Plugging the carrier block holes would require the screw in inserts which come with Brompton not sold with the block attached. Might ask your dealer for some. You could see if some sort of black rubber plugs would work. I would not go the permanent route, one day you might decide to use this very useful feature!
Thanks! Yeah, I definitely don't want a permanent solution. I ordered some short bottle cage bolts so hopefully that'll work. The regular ones fit but are too long... A fried suggested super-short bolts in the same size... I'll post my results soon.
