My only problem is that my new commute will be 18 miles, one way. I have an ebike I could use, which would cut down some of the time, but that's still too long for me every day of the week, both ways. I think the bus is a great solution, it matches my beliefs in public transportation, and I still have about 3 miles to bike each day. I consider it a win, but I won't know until I try it early next year.
Interestingly, I'm commuting by bus out of a city to a suburb, which is exactly opposite the way everyone else will commute. I know the freeways will have less traffic, and they just rebuilt the freeway to have an HOV lane, which I assume the bus will take. That should make the commute fairly regular each day.
What are the lengths of the segments at each end of the bus ride?
