I was originally thinking of staying right up near Mt Lemmon, but being in town makes more sense for group rides and in-town activities. Excellent. There is a great market near Sam Hughes called the Rincon Market. Across the street is an amazing tea house as well if you are into that.

I would suggest that to get to areas north by bike, you head east to Mountain Ave. as it is the best north/south route until you get all the way over to Tangue Verde. You can also get east via Broadway, it is a main road but actually has a good bike lane. This can take you out to Old Spanish trail which is the route to ****** hill: a great ride in the country.
