It's not a bad looking platform to build on. I bought one new for $275. The wheelset was absolutely atrocious so I dumped that and the disc brakes and cogset were clunky and heavy too. It's in my shed waiting to be rebuilt but I haven't figured out how much coin to drop on it, whether to go up-spec or down-spec, and 406 or 451.

Something that I don't quite like is the rather long wheelbase which adds to stability, yes, but zaps agility. The frame is solid, though it got scratched in transport due to poor wrapping. It's got a Hollowtech BB and crank, a front block and a basic 1" suspension. For the price, one cannot complain. Other components, while not top of the range or close to it and not the lightest, are quite serviceable. Again, a good canvas to build upon.
