My favorite saddle is making awful noise as I pedal. Some sort of sleeve/bushing where the rail enters the shell has disintegrated. I hammered a metal shim in there so I can ride it tomorrow but I can't find the same saddle for sale anywhere. It's a Selle Italia SLS from some years ago. I have another Selle Italia that I really liked but the rail broke. There used to be a company that would replace rails for about $25 but they might be gone. That saddle was over $200.
Should I start a poll on the 41 about what saddle to buy? Or should I buy some random saddle and then ask if I should like it?
