Had another sunset ride on Thursday, on the Surly this time. The socially-distanced shoal waiting to cross Mystic Street for the Minuteman tipped me to ride out on Mass. Ave.
That was a good call. There were certainly cars to deal with but not in the numbers that were seen last year at this time. And the sun and clouds were doing tricks for my enjoyment.
I switched to the Minuteman for the return, picking it up on Woburn Street.
The clouds were presiding over a peaceful evening. The birds, bugs, and frogs were singing together in the Night Chorus, not so many as a month ago.
