The purpose of my answer was to say that the 1030 Plus would be a better buy than buying a 1040 (when available) if a firmware update gave it some of the capabilities that may also be in the upcoming 1040. If you were unable to interpret that from what I wrote, perhaps I did not explain it clearly.
