I was on vacation last week in Depoe Bay, and while there I rode a wonderful loop down U.S. 101 to Newport, out along Yaquina Bay to Toledo, up Highway 229 along the Siletz River and back down 101 -- about 68 miles of which I think 67.5 were absolutely gorgeous. Here are some highlights.

Nice! Some of my favorite territory. We're actually thinking of moving to Newport in a couple of years. The valley summers are getting unbearable the past few years.
