I had a computer engineering student do an extra credit project in my class last spring where he put Google Earth locations on all the historic gardens covered in the class. It has been a wonderful addition to the lectures & never fails to solicit a gasp when Hadrian's Villa can be pulled up & shown in its digital glory today.
