Yup. I need it for butter chicken tonight. I prefer not to buy bags of onions or potatoes because most of them seem to go to waste.
I always buy at least 3 onions at a time, but my specialty is stews and other braised meat dishes, and for almost all of them the second thing that goes in the skillet (after browning the meat in batches) is at least one onion.
