Perhaps true but the very limited availability of new bikes is driving used bike prices higher. Difference between riding now or getting a new bike in 6 months or more.
Don't disagree with this, but that level of bike seems to be more in stock, well..., At least in my area, more in stock than the higher end models. The 3 trek dealers we have here have a few in stock across several sizes. Not that they hang around long, but I have noticed the stock of bikes improving lately.
