I was after an Ultimate, since I was 230# at that point. I let one on Craigs List slip through my grasp while dithering, and then my interest moved on to a modern CF bike with discs, so I ended up buying the Canyon. And then fixing up the Bianchi with new wheels and bars. And then rebuilding the neglected Cannondale. Then the Schwinn Circuit, the Lotus Supreme, and the Lotus Classique. But I've never completely lost interest in a Litespeed, so I look at the listings on Ebay, which are invariably overpriced.

This weekend, I saw a Classic from the late 90s. Just the frame. $799. I must have clicked "Watch". Today I get an offer for $699. I think that's a good price, given the condition it seems to be in. Shipping is not exorbitant, either.

But do I really want a titanium bike? I'm not a dentist.
