You can superglue silicone effectively, I’m pretty sure. Or maybe using silicone RTV to glue it would work. Did you try gluing the strap back together?
I haven't tried glue yet ... I'm not certain which glue (if any) will work with the silicone binder, but I'll talk with the folks at my local hardware next time I'm in there. Thanks!
