As mentioned rear wheel maybe 160mm. That could be limiting when looking for new wheels.
Also fork steerer could be 1-1/4 instead of the normal 1-1/8" which should not be an issue.
It could be a really nice tandem though.
We had a Sovereign and enjoyed it for many years.
