I bought a 1974 Dawes Galaxy as a commuter/runaround when working away from home weekly for six months and liked how it rode well enough to bring it home at the end rather than sell it on. I commute on it about 50% now. I ended up duplicating the rando bars, non-aero brakes, leather wrap onto my contemporary Galaxy because I found them comfortable/liked the look.
