Yah, $1,200 is a bit much. I do wish the revolt had come with a GRX crank instead of Praxis - getting a crankarm PM would be a lot easier.

Yeah, I recalled correctly, but it's only compatible for some cranksets. $490 for complete power isn't too shabby - https://power2max.cc/products/ngeco-...71602d1b&_ss=r

Someday I should probably sit down and figure out what NGeco compatible cranks are also compatible with a BSA bottom bracket threading so that I can keep an eye out for an inexpensive used set. With having to buy crank arms separately I bet it would come out to around $450-$500 - like you said, not too shabby.
Although for that money I can buy a whole lot of coin cell batteries, and I'm not totally annoyed with changing them out yet

I never caught that deal when I was actually in the market, I wish I would have. I'm okay with scrounging for old Shimano rings, I guess... though those Praxis aero rings might make me .002mph faster look pretty on the Cervelo.

More like 3-ish hours. And that's because although I don't have power, I don't have many Kg either, so the W/Kg is not awful.

Over the last couple of days, I've spent four or five hours cleaning the car ahead of the road trip (kids are messy disgusting, man). Now I have to run some errands, but it's raining and I don't want to take the car out of the garage.

And, I hate taking a freshly cleaned car out in messy weather.

At this point, I'm seriously considering taking a 1.2 mile round trip walk, in the light rain, to pick up just the essentials at the fancy grocery store ($$$), rather than drive to the fill-up-the-pantry grocery store ($).
-------
My car is connected to a phone app. When we had the big freeze and all the crappy winter weather, I wasn't driving it and it just sat parked in the garage for some time since it was clean and I didn't want it to get dirty. One day I received a text message from the app telling me that I needed to drive the car.

That's what I would do.
