Thanks, yeah, the guy who called my ambulance reassured me with "hips are plug and play these days" (not what I got anyway) but I keep thinking of my very slow and hard recovery. The realtor's mother got it a few years ago and was walking around the next day though.

Thanks! And yes, drive-throughs suck and are terrible, but worse is coffee places that open late... one of the reasons I don't go to most cute local places is they open several hours after Starbucks' 5am. One place in Kona opens at 9am, as if people there aren't going to be obviously jet-lagged.

He'll probably get it. It is a Paramount, and dollars are different now, from when I was buying bikes. And you do have income.
Do eet.
Make him an offer

Might? There’s no “might” about it.

What’s the history or the purpose of that model? Just a road bike?

I think the Circuit was the top of Schwinn's Lightweight, non-Paramount models. AFAIK, they were made for only about 5 or so years, from maybe 1985-1989. 1988 and 1989 both got Shimano's Sante groupset. They were made with Columbus SP or SL depending on size, and at least the 88 and 89 had a Tange aero fork and seatstays, and Cinelli bar and stem. The for, and the seat and chainstays were chromed.

Don't know if they were offered at the same time
The bikes (frames) are fairly similar

Looked it up. I found a $2000 Honda portable generator is rated for 1800w, and can run at that power output for 3.2 hrs on one, one gallon tank. Standard Model 3 take 50,000 w to charge fully, so you'd need to run it for 28 hours to charge the battery, and use 8.6 gal of fuel. That 28 hours of charging will get you 220 miles, giving you about 25.6 mpg.
