You'd never be able to off-load them, but why let reality rain on the parade?

Big accident in SoDak! (Correction: Sundance, WY) Turbine blade hauler was almost done making a left hand turn but the cattle truck didn't see the blade still sticking out into the road he was on, the blade tore off his sleeper roof, and the cattle trailer got hold of it really good and flipped the blade hauler's trailer and truck over, pushing the blade down the road right into the pickup truck pilot vehicle. Kinda surprised the pickup truck caught fire from an impact so high up on the vehicle.

I may need to take this to the snowblowers fourms, but let's start here.
My snowblower has developed a problem. Blower is about 15 years old, but the problem only started 2 years ago. It starts up fine and runs for maybe 1 minute. Then dies. Restarts fine. Dies again. I cleaned out the fuel line. Still happens. It has electric start so I have to use it in 60 second increments and restart, which is a royal PITA.
Last winter I didn't need it so I did not mess with it. A week ago I started it up and took it up/down the driveway for several minutes and it worked great. Problem solved, so I thought.
Nope, trying it in today's snow same thing happens. Maybe worse. Runs for maybe 1 minute at idle before it dies. Only 20-30 seconds of active use.
Any suggestions??

Could you sue Kawasaki if you crashed a Ninja and claimed they didn't tell you it was dangerous?

The usual culprits are fouled fuel system, fouled air filtration, bad plugs, gunked up carburetor, deteriorated fuel hose, poor carb tune.
I had a boat outboard that did just that once. Tried everything that I knew to do, but with no luck. Then took it to a shop. Ended up being the fuel hose, and once that was changed everything ran fine. The motor was only about 2 years old when I had that problem. I ended up changing the fuel hose as routine maintenance every year after that.
I trust you don't store it with fuel in the tank.

That's like 20 horsepower but the instant torque would make it a wheelie machine. Rumor has it Simon is going to sue for $10M. Don't know how that could work except it was said that they just dropped it at his place without any training or instruction.

If you could spray a bit of brakeclean or carb spray (don't use starting fluid) into the air intake and it stays running, then it's a fuel problem. Don't start a fire!

Does it shut down just when you engage the blades? That is, when load is placed on the motor?

Never worked on one but it could be fuel or ignition. Does it immediately start back up? If it has a carburetor and it just switches off and then restarts immediately it sound like an ignition problem.

if the fuel that was in it has ethanol the carb may need replacing or rebuilding. It corrodes the heck out of everything.
