I'm not the only crazy cyclist
Managed to get two of my boys out riding for this. Have tons of more winter shots. Just don't have access to them on this computer yet.

Long weekend in the Laurentians!
We spent 4 days up at our place in the Laurentians, and brought a couple of bikes along, of course!
The relatively mild weather we had been having was followed by rain, then falling temps, so we weren't sure what too expect when we got there... Well, our downward sloping driveway was literally a solid sheet of ice - inches thick. So were the roads, thankfully with quite a bit of sand/gravel thrown down by the municipality.
Although we had to do an undignified slide on our butts to get to the front door of the cottage, we lucked out with bluebird weather - blue skies, sunshine, and just below freezing temps!
Some pics for you!!
"Portaging" over a section of un-finished roadway. 1 km of postholing - ugh!
End of our ride for that day....

A couple more videos I made from last weekend's rides. Snow's fading in some spots, but there's still some excellent ice. Be sure to click the high quality link or they'll suck even more.

Vik,
are the sidewalls on the endomorphs showing a little threadbare ? I have 600 miles on mine,
and after I run 10psi and get the wrinklewall effect, the threads show through the rubber.
I usually start all winter rides at 18psi and bleed air as conditions dictate, until I get good traction.
I think the sidewall integrity is OK, but I was wondering if anyone else's endomorphs have thin
sidewall rubber and get threadbare when run soft ?

Tried riding last month, but there was too much snow on the trail. We ended up just messing around in the roads.
Some from last year.

Thanks for the kind words...
We are down in Moab at the moment, but even in the Utah desert we can't completely escape the snow!...

Ahhhh. That is an interesting field. And it does get you to nice biking locations! As an IT person, I can commiserate with the laptop jockey part! Please keep the amazing pics coming!
BTW, I was following your Pugsley google group - quite an assortment of bike places advised me against hydraulic brakes - seems they all experienced leakage in very cold temps...

Here are a few recent shots on my cross bike (these have been posted on other forums)
Breakup is a month away.
I mounted some studs on the cross bike. Someone mentioned that I have them on backwards. They seem to work ok, but they may be right. I'll have to change them, I guess.
Trails are great right now.
Here's a vid of our other mode of winter transportation
