As for discs on the tri bike, any place where I'd want discs I probably don't want the tri bike anyway.

Also, highly recommend that you get a timer/smart outlet - have the machine wake up at least a half hour before you do.

I have a cup system. If the cups are upside down, it's ready for the morning. If they're not upside down when I'm wrapping up for the night, I know to take care of whatever before going to bed.

Oh, no - this isn't to brew - it's to pre-heat the machine so that it's ready to brew. Consistency of temp is pretty important with espresso, so you want the heat to spread from the boiler and all the way through the grouphead before you start pulling shots.

Oh, I noticed the past few rides that my rear wheel makes a quiet but audible pinging sound under load. Silent when coasting or pedaling at Z2 or less.It sounds like the spokes are shifting slightly where they overlap, and I can reproduce a similar sound if I manually move the spokes where they cross.
The tension and trueness of the wheel is indeed off a bit, so my best guess is that's WHY the sounds are happening. I suppose I should put a tiny drop of oil at each junction for now.
Comments??
