I rode the ebike to the shop and back today. About 14 miles, but it doesn't count.

I decided when it goes to the bike shop I should also replace the cables. But when that happens I figure it would be a good time to also replace the handlebar coverings. So I'll wait until my brifter covers arrive from Taiwan.

Velo Vol doesn't know what day it is, his knee hurts so he is going to walk but he thinks I'm the old timer.

Hot cut of the summer right here. Looks like the woodwinds are sight reading off of tablets (we're totally living in the future now). I'm dying to know what the screens look like!

I had bar ends on a moustache bar for a while (on the old Schwinn). I don't even have the old DT shifters in the rjones28 parts bin anymore. I set them up on some Paul's Thumbies for a commuter bike which I sold.

Nope. Per YouTube history this is the last music I played.
So that's what sheet music looks like.

The last DT shifter bike I had was a Dave Tesch s22. Basically a crit bike for a heavy, powerful rider and the stiffest, most brutal ride ever. I rode that thing for 11 years and I replaced it with a CAAD5 which wasn't as stiff. I loaned (gave?) the Tesch to a friend who is 6'5" and 250 pounds and he loves it. It's the first bike he's ever been on that handles his weight.
