Light Bicycle Wheels

I've had R45's F+R on DT 240's with 25mm GP 5000's for the last 5 years. The only time wind has bothered me is on fast mountain descents when it's gusty. Wife has been on R35/R45 F+R for the last 4 years. Just ordered her some new AR375/AR465's in the sales. Her old wheels will go up for sale when the new ones turn up. I'm trying to avoid some new AR465/AR565's for myself.
I say that because that is exactly what I have.
We don't have a lot of mountains in Ohio, but it does get windy spring and fall. It is hard to say if the new, deeper wheels make that much of a difference for me, after accounting for what I as a rider stick up into the crosswind.
