I'm more interested in 'conversions' if they're treated as road fixed gear bikes - hoods for comfort, sensible gear ratio. They make lovely bikes.
The ones that make my eyes roll are the ones that try to look like track bikes. Big bar drop, unwrapped bars... silliness.
This one seems kind of stuck in between.

That Rafael could be so sweet. The company that actually put that on their site should have more sense.

i like what they did with the seat tube. I would imagine it's more "aero" to tuck it into a cutout like a pista concept, but really that part is so messed up aerodynamically by the rider i doubt it matters. the hub is hotness too. only thing i'm not liking is the look stem. meh.

i'm all over that pursuit, but honestly i think the wheelset, frame design, and general scheme are blinding me from the look stem and other details (why fillet braze and then not blend the track ends into the stays?).

i dont care how much it costs, that "thing" looks f-u-c-k-i-n-g stupid. and yeah what's with the d-i-l-d-o bar???
when i skim through the "track bikes in japan" thread, i see **** like this. just some blingy **** tossed together without much thought about how how it'll all work together.
