Will have to get out bed earlier so I don’t miss the interesting stuff.

I saw them. It would be useful to have screen shots of the titles of those threads to show new members who complain about the current rules limiting new members to 5 posts a day and no pictures or ability to post links

Must not mind riding in jackets that are too long in front and too short in back, have sleeves that are too short, have no back pockets, have side pockets or front pockets or both that sag with any appreciable amount of stuff in them, let wind through or else become clammy, and are loose and floppy and thus function as parachutes.

Most of those objections apply primarily to people riding at training-level speeds, of course. For casual upright riding, utility riding, food delivery riding, etc., conventional jackets can work fine. I use my cycling jackets for training rides and my regular jackets for shopping rides.

I have a good phone mount that handles all sorts of bumps just fine. I use my phone for GPS and monitoring my speed and mileage in real time so it's very useful to me to have it where I can see it.

I don't waste money on pop and don't fill up landfills with wasteful disposable plastic bottles. I use inexpensive, often free, reusable bike bottles that you don't need to unscrew the lid to drink out of. But you're much more clever and thrifty than me I guess

Bravo Rydabent. I can see the headlines now_--"Veteran cyclist takes break from yelling at clouds to champion drunken cycling."
